I looked at the Neue Haas Grotesk, and I really like it. The problem is, it is double the cost of Neue Helvetica. For someone who earns their living using typestyles, I can understand the investment. In my own field, I know the value of good tools, and they are usually not cheap. To someone who is just discovering the subtleties of typestyles and who a week ago would have balked at paying anything for a font when computers come loaded with all kinds of them (notwithstanding the fact that only a few are any good) it is a bit hard to digest.
I was all set to buy the Neue Helvetica #2 value pack from fonts.com, but I will study New Haas Grotesk a bit more first.
