Plenty of helvetes around so no need for five-finger discounts. Bitstream's Swiss 721 is enough of one for me (doesn't harm that "Death by PowerPoint" was set in it), even though mine was old when Xt was a corporal. FreeSans, TeXGyre Heros and URW Nimbus Sans all deliver the basic quartet and are available more-or-less freely, too.
IMAO, Arial and most helvetes look rather dull to me on their own. Seems to me that the trick to spicing up their life is to pair them up like Laurel&Hardy (Gøg&Gokke).
