I hope that this post is appropriate -- I know that the discussion here is usually geared toward specifically discussing typefaces. I simply couldn't find a better area in which to post this.
As for your suggestion of a typeface, I'm quite intrigued by it. I'd never considered choosing a font based on a Semitic aesthetic, but would be very interested to see examples of fonts with heavy horizontals that could be reminiscent.
